  2. Comfort: The ability to remain comfortable for extended periods of time without itchiness, annoyance, or ear pain.
  3. Build Quality: The overall durability and longevity. Able to withstand harsh conditions for extended periods of time.
  4. Noise Isolation/ Active Noise Cancelling: If any at all, how well the active noise cancelling or noise isolating abilities are.

  6. Added Features: A few examples of added features earbuds offer can be Bluetooth wireless capabilities or a built-in microphone for phone calls.

We compared and contrasted each of these factors for the TOZO T10, APEKX, & Xmyth earbuds

Sound Quality

Especially for music listeners, the overall quality of sound is a massive factor in finding your perfect pair of earbuds. There are various factors that impact a pair of earbuds’ sound quality.

TOZO T10
With its 8mm drivers and Hifi stereo sound quality, the sound quality will blow you away. Many believe these earbuds have the best sound quality at the price by a long shot. You will also be highly satisfied with the deep bass, punchy mids, and shiny highs. Overall, the sound quality will amaze you!

APEKX
These earbuds produce very clear and crisp sound quality. Like the previous earbuds, the sound is astonishing for the low-price. They have a wide frequency response and able to accentuate all the instruments clearly. In most people’s opinion, the APEKX primary strong point is its fantastic sound. Between the lows, mids, and highs, it produces a well-balanced sound. However, they are not very bass-heavy.

Xmyth
The sound quality for these earbuds is extremely good for the low-price. They have a great bass response, well-balanced frequencies between the highs and mids, and overall very clear. We believe these earbuds produce slightly better sound compared to the others.

Overall, the Xmyth produces slightly better sound quality. In close second is the TOZO T10.

Comfort

The ability for earbuds to remain comfortable for extended periods of time without itchiness, annoyance, pressure, or ear pain. Considering many people use earbuds for commute, air travel, or work; Comfort is a vital factor.

TOZO T10
In terms of their comfort, you will be very pleased. The earbuds fit pretty comfortably in the ear. Many people with smaller ears who generally have issues finding earbuds that fit have no issues with these.

APEKX
Another strong point with the APEKX is their comfort. The soft pliable ear hooks fit securely on the ears. Even during intense exercise while you’re drenched in sweat, they don’t come close to falling off. Overall, you will be highly satisfied with their comfort.

Xmyth
These earbuds are extremely comfortable. They fit in your ear securely without any issues of falling out. Overall, I give them a 9.4 out of 10 for comfort.

Overall, the Xmyth is the most comfortable.

Build Quality

What good are your amazingly sounding earbuds if they break in a few months? The overall durability and longevity are crucial for any investment you make. Especially for those who need earbuds for commute, it’s important they’re able to withstand vigorous traveling conditions consistently.

TOZO T10
They have a robust build quality that’ll surprise you for its price range. They also fit very well and remain securely in your ear while running. It has a soft rubber finish that seems it will last a long time. The materials seem much more expensively made than the price. Not only the earbuds themselves are sturdy, but the case is durable, as well. They have IPX8 waterproof capabilities; the earbuds and the case are entirely resistant for the most extreme sweaters while running or exercise.

APEKX
The build quality is sturdy and durable. These earbuds are easily able to last a long time without any durability issues. Without hesitation, they are easily able to withstand intense environmental conditions.

Xmyth
Unfortunately, the charging case can be a bit of a hassle since it doesn’t stop charging the earbuds until that battery dies. Once the battery dies, the earbud’s battery life slowly begins to drain. This makes it difficult to charge the earbuds at night. Most people get used to the fact that they must charge the earbuds during the day. They are water-resistant for that don’t get damaged from sweat during exercise.

Overall, the TOZO T10 has the best build quality of the three.

Noise Isolation/ Active Noise Cancelling

Don’t be confused between active noise cancelling and noise isolation earbuds. They are both entirely different. Noise-cancelling technology is very unique. Unlike noise-isolating earbuds, noise-cancelling earbuds do not eradicate outside noise by physical insulation. Within the ear cups, they have a mini microphone that picks up the outside environmental noise. It then triggers a frequency entirely opposite to the outside ambient noise. Thus, canceling out most outside ambient sound.

TOZO T10
These earbuds don’t offer active noise cancellation. However, they do have pretty good passive noise isolation. Once put on, the TOZO T10 naturally cut out a decent portion of your outside environment. Many people use these to reduce outside noise while flying on a plane, mowing the lawn, or in a loud environment. For the price, you will be highly satisfied with its noise isolation capabilities.

APEKX
In terms of noise-isolation, they are decent. Not the best, but they do eradicate a fair amount of outside ambient noise naturally. They do not have active noise cancelling. The primary downside to these earbuds is its extremely poor battery life. On top of that, many people receive defective units with charging issues.

Xmyth
Another thing you may appreciate about the Xmyth is its active noise-cancellation capabilities. It helps reduce the lower frequencies, and ambient noise in you’re outside environment.

Overall, the Xmyth is the only one of the three with active noise cancelling capabilities.

Battery Life

Battery life is an overlooked subject when speaking about over-ear earbuds. Obviously, the only earbuds that have a battery life are those which are wireless. Many earbuds on the market do not have wireless capabilities. But for those who do, a more extended battery-life becomes a convenient factor.

TOZO T10
They offer a humble battery life of 4 hours.

APEKX
While the manufacturer claims they last 4 hours, in most people’s experience, the battery life half that amount.

Xmyth
These earbuds offer a decent battery life of roughly 5 hours of continuous playtime.

Overall, the Xmyth has the most extended battery life of the three by a thin margin.
