  2. Comfort: The ability to remain comfortable for extended periods of time without itchiness, annoyance, or ear pain.
  3. Build Quality: The overall durability and longevity. Able to withstand harsh conditions for extended periods of time.

  6. Added Features: A few examples of added features headphones offer can be Bluetooth capabilities, built-in AI assistant, headphone controls, built-in microphone for phone calls, flexibility, rotatable ear cups, etc.

We compared and contrasted each of these factors for the Picun P28S & OneOdio Pro-10

Sound Quality

Especially for music listeners, the overall quality of sound is a massive factor in finding your perfect pair of headphones. There are various factors that impact a pair of headphones’ sound quality.

Picun B12
Multiple factors give these headphones great sound quality for an affordable price. On each earcup, it has dual drivers and 4 speakers for a much more powerful sound than the cost. It also produces clear Hifi stereo audio. On the earcup, press both the plus and minus signs to switch the EQ mode to heavier bass.

OneOdio Pro-10
With large 50mm neodymium drivers, neodymium magnets, HiFi sound, and a wide frequency response of 20Hz-20KHz; These headphones produce immense sound quality for their price. They are also very bass-heavy. In other words, they provide great bass for the buck. Many entry-level DJs use these headphones and give them incredible ratings. Overall, you will be thrilled by the sound quality for the low-price.

Overall, by an extremely slim margin, the OneOdio Pro-10 has better sound quality.

The ability for headphones to remain comfortable for extended periods of time without itchiness, annoyance, pressure, or ear pain. Considering many people use headphones for commute, air travel, or work; Comfort is a vital factor.

Picun B12
With memory protein earpads and an adjustable headband, these headphones are surprisingly comfortable for the low-price. They are easily worn for extended periods of time without sweaty ears, pain, or discomfort. Another thing that helps the comfort is its lightweight design. Overall, I give the comfortability of these headphones a solid 9.1 out of 10.

OneOdio Pro-10
These headphones are very comfortable. The only downside to its comfort is the earpad material will cause your ears to sweat during extended periods. However, the overall comfort is very good.

Overall, the Picun B12 is more comfortable.

Build Quality

What good are your amazingly sounding headphones if they break in a few months? The overall durability and longevity are crucial for any investment you make. Especially for those who need headphones for commute, it’s important they’re able to withstand vigorous traveling conditions consistently.

Picun B12
In terms of the build quality, again, these headphones will surprise you for their price. Most headphones in this price range have poor durability and longevity. However, these headphones are incredibly sturdy and able to last. The only possible longevity issue that can be a concern is the earmuff material. They don’t fold; however, the cups swivel 90-degrees for added convenience. Overall, these headphones are a great build for the low-price.

OneOdio Pro-10
The OneOdio Pro-10 is made of glossy finish trims and black matte plastic. It’s another pair with a surprisingly good build quality and durability at its price point. OneOdio designed these headphones for vigorous DJ use. Another thing I like is its 90° swiveling earcups.

Overall, Both headphones are tied for build quality.

Noise Isolation/ Active Noise Cancelling

Don’t be confused between active noise cancelling and noise isolation headphones. They are both entirely different. Noise-cancelling technology is very unique. Unlike noise-isolating headphones, noise-cancelling headphones do not eradicate outside noise by physical insulation. Within the ear cups, they have a mini microphone that picks up the outside environmental noise. It then triggers a frequency entirely opposite to the outside ambient noise. Thus, canceling out most outside ambient sound.

Picun B12
This pair does not provide active noise cancelling. However, they are closed-back headphones that offer great passive noise-isolation.

OneOdio Pro-10
One of the downsides of the OneOdio Pro-10 is its relatively poor noise isolation. Once put on, you will still hear most of the outside environment. These headphones do not provide active noise canceling, as well.

Overall, the Picun B12 provides better noise-isolation.

Battery Life

Battery life is an overlooked subject when speaking about over-ear headphones. Obviously, the only headphones that have a battery life are those which are wireless. Many headphones on the market do not have wireless capabilities. But for those who do, a more extended battery-life becomes a convenient factor.

Picun B12
These headphones have a phenomenal battery life of 40 hours. It only takes roughly 2 hours to get a full charge.

OneOdio Pro-10
These headphones are wired. They don’t have Bluetooth wireless capabilities.

Overall, the Picun B12 is the only pair of the two that have wireless capabilities.
